- Valid Washington State Freshwater License, Punch Card, and (new to 2010) a WDFW Salmon Steelhead Endorsement
(all 3 are available at most sporting good stores and some grocery stores such as Fred Meyer)
- Warm clothing is necessary. Dress in layers. The temperatures may begin at sub freezing levels and end up in the 60's by the end of the day.
- Rain gear and waterproof boots are highly encouraged. Staying dry and warm is essential for having an enjoyable day.
- Sack lunch and drinks
